Transforming Thorne’s Chatbot into an
AI-Powered Wellness Assistant
Background
Thorne aimed to enhance its Personal Wellness Ecosystem by introducing a more intelligent, helpful, and intuitive AI assistant. The goal was to create a seamless experience that provides personalized product recommendations based on individual needs, answers user questions accurately in natural, conversational language, and integrates smoothly into the website without disrupting the existing browsing journey.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, I led the design of the AI Wellness Assistant, collaborating with the research team to translate user insights into intuitive conversational experiences. I conducted current state and competitor analysis, created user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and built a scalable design system in Figma aligned with Thorne’s brand. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I iterated on the experience to ensure a seamless journey from user inquiry to product recommendation and purchase.
